John Went

John has over 15 years’ legal experience in the real estate investment industry.  John started his career in 2007 at the international law firm Clifford Chance, representing a variety of investors, sponsors and operating partners on all aspects of real estate investment including cross-border real estate M&A, real estate private equity, joint ventures and co-investment.

Prior to joining LCP, John was General Counsel for CBRE Investment Management Indirect with overall responsibility for the firm’s legal affairs globally including funds, separate accounts and investment activity.

John also oversaw the legal functions of the CBRE Investment Management Asia Pacific and Infrastructure businesses.John is a qualified solicitor (England and Wales) and holds a masters in Modern History and Economics from Oxford University. 

John is based in the UK Office.
